Job Responsibilities

As a Research Associate or Senior Research Associate in Aragen’s Process R&D team, you will:

  • Conduct independent experiments and monitor reactions with minimal supervision.
  • Apply knowledge of named reactions, reaction mechanisms, and spectroscopy (Proton, H_N_NMR, Mass).
  • Perform lab validation experiments, compile data, and prepare batch/development reports.
  • Ensure adherence to GLP, quality standards, safety protocols, and project timelines.
  • Maintain online documentation and meet RMC (Raw Material Control) and quality parameters.
  • Handle impurity profiling and in-process controls with precision.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • M.Sc in Organic Chemistry from a recognized institution.
  • 2-6 years of experience in process R&D or related fields.
  • Strong knowledge of spectroscopy, named reactions, and reaction mechanisms.
  • Hands-on experience in impurity profiling and in-process controls.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
  • Proficiency in maintaining GLP and online documentation.
