Job Responsibilities
As a Research Associate or Senior Research Associate in Aragen’s Process R&D team, you will:
- Conduct independent experiments and monitor chemical reactions with minimal supervision.
- Apply knowledge of named reactions, reaction mechanisms, and spectroscopy (Proton, H-NMR, Mass).
- Perform lab validation experiments and compile data for batch/development reports.
- Ensure adherence to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), quality standards, safety protocols, and project timelines.
- Maintain online documentation and meet Raw Material Control (RMC) and quality parameters.
- Handle impurity profiling and in-process controls to support process development.
Qualifications
To excel in this role, candidates must have:
- Education: MSc in Organic Chemistry.
- Experience: 2-6 years in Process R&D, preferably in a pharmaceutical or CRO setting.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of named reactions and reaction mechanisms.
- Hands-on experience with spectroscopy (Proton, H-NMR, Mass).
- Proficiency in impurity profiling and in-process controls.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration.
- Ability to manage experiments independently and meet project deadlines.
