Position Details
Job Title: Executive / Senior Executive – Biologicals Manufacturing (Fermentation & Downstream Processing) Location: Harohalli Phase-2, KIADB Industrial Area, Kanakapura Taluk, Bengaluru South – 562112 Experience Required: 1–4 years Education:
- Diploma in Chemical Engineering
- B.Sc. in Microbiology / Biochemistry / Biotechnology
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor large-scale fermenters (3 KL – 30 KL) and downstream equipment
- Perform filtration, centrifugation, chromatography, lyophilization, and spray drying operations
- Ensure compliance with cGMP, SOPs, and safety protocols in biologics manufacturing
- Maintain batch records and troubleshoot process deviations
- Work in rotational shifts as per production requirements
Qualifications & Skills Required
- 1–4 years of hands-on experience in fermentation and downstream processing of biologics, probiotics, enzymes, or small molecules
- Practical exposure to large-scale fermenters, continuous centrifuges, TFF systems, lyophilizers, or spray dryers
- Strong understanding of cGMP and documentation practices
- Willingness to work in shifts (mandatory)
