Responsibilities of an Analytical Researcher I
As an Analytical Researcher I at Teva Pharmaceuticals, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of pharmaceutical products. Your key responsibilities include:
- Sample Analysis: Analyze samples from the Formulation department, including in-process, finished products, pre-formulation, and stability samples.
- Method Development: Develop analytical methods for APIs, in-process samples, finished products, and cleaning studies.
- Method Transfer: Execute analytical method transfer activities to ensure seamless processes.
- Instrument Calibration and Maintenance: Calibrate and maintain analytical instruments, including qualifications, AMC tracking, history, spares, and usage records.
- Quality Compliance: Adhere to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and existing quality systems during all activities.
- Safety Practices: Follow strict Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) protocols during operations.
- Troubleshooting: Address challenges with analytical instruments during day-to-day operations.
- Additional Tasks: Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager.
Qualifications and Experience
To succeed in this role, candidates should have the following qualifications:
- Education: PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences or MSc with 1+ years of experience for PhD holders or 3–5 years of relevant experience for MSc graduates.
- Skills: Strong expertise in analytical method development, instrument calibration, and troubleshooting. Familiarity with GLP and EHS systems is essential.
- Experience: Proven track record in pharmaceutical analysis, preferably in a similar role.
