Bristol Myers Squibb (BMS), a global biopharmaceutical leader, is hiring for the position of Analyst I – Portfolio Analytics at its Hyderabad, Telangana location. This full-time opportunity is ideal for professionals with 1–3 years of experience in pharmaceutical forecasting, commercial analytics, or business analytics who want to contribute to high-impact strategic decision-making in Oncology, Hematology, and Cell Therapy.
At BMS, analytics professionals play a critical role in transforming complex data into actionable insights that shape portfolio strategy and business development decisions across therapeutic areas.
Key Responsibilities – Analyst I, Portfolio Analytics
- Develop and maintain robust pharmaceutical forecasting models across multiple therapeutic areas
- Partner with the BD Analytics HOCT team to support portfolio and valuation decisions
- Apply statistical forecasting, time-series analysis, and predictive modeling techniques
- Conduct scenario analysis and simulations related to pricing, market dynamics, and regulatory outcomes
- Analyze large datasets including sales forecasts, epidemiology, and competitive intelligence
- Build Excel-based financial and forecasting models from scratch, including reusable dashboards
- Prepare and present insight-driven reports and PowerPoint presentations for leadership
- Collaborate with cross-functional and IT teams to automate data collection and reporting
- Continuously monitor market trends, competitors, and pipeline developments
Eligibility & Qualifications
Educational Background
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Finance, Economics, Business, or related fields
- MBA preferred but not mandatory
Experience & Skills
- 1–3 years of experience in pharmaceutical forecasting, portfolio analytics, or commercial analytics
- Strong proficiency in Advanced Excel, VBA, and data manipulation tools
- Familiarity with pharma industry datasets (sales, Epi, competitive intelligence)
- Experience in Oncology, Hematology, or Cell Therapy is an advantage
- Knowledge of forecasting software, BI tools, Python is a plus
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Salary & Compensation
- Estimated Salary Range: ₹8,00,000 – ₹14,00,000 per annum
