📝 Key Responsibilities
As a Medical Reviewer MLR – Scientific Communications, you will:
- Review proactive medical and promotional materials for scientific accuracy and reference appropriateness.
- Ensure all content maintains appropriate medical context, balance, and compliance.
- Collaborate with US Scientific Communication MLR reviewers for clear and aligned feedback.
- Apply review comments through Amgen’s MLR systems (e.g., Veeva PromoMats).
- Provide scientific guidance to cross-functional teams on appropriate use of data.
- Stay updated with therapeutic area developments, industry guidelines, and regulatory standards.
- Support standardization and process improvement initiatives.
🎓 Qualifications – Who Can Apply?
You are eligible if you hold one of the following degrees with relevant experience:
- Doctorate (PhD, PharmD, MD, etc.) – with 2+ years of related experience
- MBBS or Master’s degree (M.Pharm, M.Sc Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, etc.) – with 4+ years of related industry experience
- Bachelor’s degree (B.Pharm, B.Sc Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, etc.) – with 4+ years of related industry experience
- Associate’s degree – with 6+ years of related industry experience
Preferred Background:
- Doctorate in life sciences, pharmacy, biomedical sciences
- 5+ years in medical review, medical writing, scientific communications, or publications
- Familiarity with MLR review systems (Veeva PromoMats or equivalent)
- Knowledge of oncology, cardiovascular, inflammation, bone, and rare diseases
