Alembic Pharmaceuticals Limited is inviting applications for the position of Research Associate / Research Scientist in the Technology Transfer (TT) team at its formulation manufacturing sites near Vadodara, Gujarat. About the Role
The selected candidate will be part of the Technology Transfer (TT) team, responsible for ensuring smooth transfer of product and process knowledge from development to commercial manufacturing.
The role requires close coordination with Production, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, and R&D teams to ensure compliance, quality, and successful product launches.
Key Responsibilities
The Research Associate / Research Scientist will be responsible for:
- Reviewing and providing technical inputs on Product Development Reports (PDR), Master Formula Cards (MFC), and Technology Transfer documents
- Preparing process-related risk assessments, protocols, and reports for feasibility trials and scale-up batches
- Executing trial batches and scale-up batches and preparing summary reports
- Preparing and reviewing Exhibit Batches, Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR), and Batch Packaging Records (BPR)
- Supporting regulatory filings by providing intended commercial BMR, BPR, and stability execution/evaluation summaries
- Supporting regulatory activities such as Test License, Import License, No Objection Certificate (NOC), and Manufacturing License documentation
- Reviewing and defining Critical Process Parameters (CPPs) and Critical Quality Attributes (CQAs) as part of Annual Product Review (APR)
- Initiating and supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) activities at the manufacturing site
- Supporting and implementing Process Analytical Technology (PAT) initiatives for process improvement
- Preparing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), technical reports, position papers, and justification reports
Required Qualifications
Candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Qualification: B.Pharm or M.Pharm
- Experience: 2–5 years in Technology Transfer within formulation manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of scale-up, exhibit batches, regulatory documentation, and process validation
- Good documentation and analytical skills
Candidates with hands-on experience in regulatory support and commercial batch documentation will be preferred.
Salary and Benefits
Based on industry standards for mid-level Technology Transfer professionals in Gujarat, the expected salary range is:
- ₹4,50,000 to ₹8,50,000 per annum (depending on experience and qualifications)
