Key Positions Available
Alembic is hiring for various levels including Technical Officer, Junior Executive, Executive, and Senior Executive across multiple functions:
- Production (OSD): Operate and manage granulation, compression, coating, pelletization, and capsule filling equipment per SOPs, BMRs, and GMP guidelines.
- Packing (OSD): Handle blister packing, bulk bottle operations, track-and-trace systems, and machines like CAM, BQS, HONGA, UHLMA, CVC, Pharma Pack, IMA, and Sachet.
- Production (Injectable): Manage aseptic processes including lyophilizers, vial washing, filling, FFS, tunnel, filters, and active freeze drying systems.
- Engineering – Plant/ Maintenance (OSD/Injectable): Preventive and breakdown maintenance of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and instrumentation systems; experience in pharma equipment operations required.
- Production (API) & Kilo Lab: Supervise reactor, centrifuge, blender, sifter, multi-mill operations; maintain documentation, handle deviations, and ensure cGMP compliance.
- Quality Function (QC/QA – OSD/Injectable): Operate QC instruments, perform microbiological testing (HPLC, GC, KF, UV, sterility), line clearance, validation, environmental monitoring, and BMR reviews.
For all roles, preference is given to candidates with exposure to regulatory documentation, cGMP/GLP in regulated plants.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Educational Background: ITI, Diploma, B.Pharm, M.Pharm, B.Sc./M.Sc. (Chemistry/Microbiology), B.Tech/B.E. (Chemical/Mechanical/Electrical/Instrumentation).
- Experience: 1 to 5 years in relevant pharma manufacturing, quality, or engineering functions.
- Key Skills: GMP compliance, aseptic practices, equipment handling (specific machines listed), documentation (SOPs, BMRs), and problem-solving in production/QC environments.
Freshers may not qualify for most positions based on the criteria, but related diploma holders could explore entry-level opportunities.
