Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment including granulation, compression, coating, pelletization, capsule filling, blister packing, serialization machines, autoclaves, lyophilizers, and more as per SOPs, BMRs, and GMP guidelines.
- Handle aseptic practices, filling operations, filtration systems, and documentation in injectable setups.
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance for mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and instrumentation systems.
- Supervise production in reactors, centrifuges, and related equipment; manage deviations and implement corrective actions.
- Operate QC instruments, conduct microbiological testing (HPLC, GC, KF), line clearance, validation, environmental monitoring, and maintain aseptic trends.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Educational Qualification: ITI / Diploma / B.Pharm / M.Pharm (for most production and quality roles); B.Sc / B.Tech (Chemical) / M.Sc / BE (for API and engineering); Electrical/Mechanical/Instrumentation Diploma or BE (for engineering).
- Experience: 1 to 5 years in relevant pharmaceutical manufacturing (OSD, Injectable, API) or plant maintenance. Freshers may not be eligible for most positions; hands-on experience and good documentation practices are essential.
- Key Skills: Knowledge of GMP/cGMP guidelines, SOP/BMR execution, regulatory documentation, aseptic techniques, and equipment handling (e.g., CAM, HONGA, UHL-MANN, etc.). Pharma experience is mandatory for engineering roles.
