Job Description: Fresher Medical Coder
AGS Health is seeking a Fresher Medical Coder to join their team in Jaipur. This is a full-time, on-site role ideal for individuals looking to start their career in the healthcare industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assign accurate diagnostic and procedural codes to patient records.
- Ensure compliance with coding guidelines and regulations.
- Review medical records and documents to abstract information for coding and billing purposes.
- Collaborate with medical staff and team members to resolve coding-related issues.
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in handling patient data.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Biotech, Nursing, Health Information Management, or a related field.
- Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with medical staff and team members.
- Basic understanding of medical terminology and coding guidelines (training will be provided).
- Experience:Â Prior experience in a healthcare environment is a plus but not mandatory.
