Dr. Reddy Hiring M.Pharm, M.Sc, or Ph.D

Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories is seeking an IPM Analyst to support all IP-related inputs during product selection, strategy/product development, and launch. This role involves ensuring IP compliance for API/Formulation development within the regulatory and IP framework.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patent Searches: Conduct searches in various patent databases, screen relevant patents/applications, and prepare patent landscapes.
• Regulatory Searches: Perform searches in relevant regulatory databases and prepare product reports, including patent landscapes.
• Patent Analysis: Read patents and prosecution histories in-depth, proposing design around strategies for relevant composition patents.
• Freedom to Operate: Perform Freedom to Operate analysis and support necessary IP clearances.
• Regulatory Support: Assist regulatory teams with necessary labeling changes.
• IP Diligences: Provide support to Product Selection & Portfolio teams with necessary IP diligences.
• Prior Arts Identification: Identify prior arts to support invalidation grounds for blocking patents/applications.
• Technical Support: Provide technical support to legal teams during litigation/patent oppositions.

Qualifications:

• Educational Qualification: M.Pharm., M.Sc., or Ph.D. in Pharma.
• Experience: 3-7 years of experience in Intellectual Property, preferably in Life Science & Healthcare sector. Experience with API/Formulation R&D is an added advantage.
• Certifications: Qualified Indian Patent Agent and/or PG Diploma in patents law preferred.
