Job Title: OPU & ET Technician – M.V.Sc. (Animal Reproduction, Gynaecology, and Obstetrics)

Overall Responsibility:
Supervise and implement synchronization protocols for recipient cows. Ensure safe embryo transfers (ET) and ovum pick up (OPU) from donor animals.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform ovum pick up from donor animals.
- Examine new animals before selection for embryo transfer.
- Conduct rectal palpations to evaluate the reproductive status of incoming recipient cows.
- Review and design synchronization protocols for recipients.
- Perform embryo transfers to recipient cows.
- Follow up on synchronized and ET recipients until pregnancy.
- Evaluate pregnancy status in recipients using ultrasonography at 28 days post-insemination.
- Identify the number of viable fetuses in pregnant cows 60 days post-embryo transfer.
- Treat anestrus animals and address breeding issues.
Qualifications:
- Education: M.V.Sc. in Animal Reproduction, Gynaecology, and Obstetrics (ARGO). Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree required.
- Experience: 1-3 years in AI and breeding, with proficiency in addressing gynecological disorders in cattle.
