Responsibilities of Executive – Microbiology: As an Executive in Microbiology at Novonesis, you will play a key role in ensuring product safety and quality by conducting microbiological analysis and managing laboratory processes. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting microbiological analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
  • Preparing and maintaining media and ensuring accurate record-keeping.
  • Managing media destruction records and monitoring the temperature of lab instruments.
  • Recording probiotic worksheets, TRNs, and BMRs.
  • Performing stability sample analysis and laboratory fumigation.
  • Calibrating pH meters, reporting lab incidents, and adhering to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
  • Ensuring compliance with safety norms and maintaining stock logs for the probiotics lab.

Qualifications: To excel in this role, the ideal candidate should possess:

  • A B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Microbiology or Biotechnology.
  • Knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • A safety-first approach and attention to detail in microbiological procedures.
