Key Responsibilities
As an Executive in the FRD-Orals Department, your role will involve:
- Literature Search & Product Understanding: Conduct in-depth research to understand the product and interpret data essential for product development.
- Product Strategy Design: Prepare and design primary product strategies. Collaborate with the group leader or team leader to discuss and refine these strategies.
- Product Development Planning: Plan and execute product development activities aimed at achieving the desired product profile. Compile relevant data to support development.
- Pre-Formulation Studies: Plan and monitor pre-formulation studies, ensuring comprehensive data compilation for each project.
- Formulation & Process Optimization: Execute various formulation optimization and process trials, compile data, and evaluate trial outcomes.
- Stability Studies: Monitor the stability data of product batches and provide regular updates on project progress.
- Documentation: Maintain laboratory notebooks and assist in the documentation of controlled documents, ensuring proper data compilation during development stages.
- Batch Execution: Assist in the execution of scale-up, exhibit batches, characterization batches, process validation batches, and commercial batches at manufacturing sites in consultation with the group leader.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Educational Background: A degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Science, or a related field is typically preferred.
- Experience: Prior experience in formulation development, particularly in oral drug formulations, would be an advantage.
