Key Responsibilities of Executive I – QC (Chemistry)

In this position, you will be responsible for several critical functions within the Quality Control (QC) department. Here’s a breakdown of the key accountabilities:

  • Analysis and Approval: Conduct sampling, testing, and validation of in-process control samples, intermediates, and APIs to support production activities. You will also be involved in method validation, process validation, and cleaning validation tasks.
  • Documentation: Manage, generate, and archive essential documents like raw data, reports, and Certificates of Analysis (COA) in line with regulatory requirements. You will also help in preparing and implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Laboratory Management: Ensure the qualification, validation, and calibration of lab equipment while maintaining the inventory of chemicals and reference standards.
  • Quality, HSE, and Compliance: Adhere to GMP guidelines and ALCOA+++ practices for documentation. You will also ensure compliance with local and international HSE norms, regulatory standards, and ISO 14000 requirements.
  • Team Collaboration: Act as a member of the validation team, troubleshoot issues, and provide feedback to the QC Manager. You’ll also assist during regulatory or customer inspections.

Education and Experience Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • A Master’s degree (M.Sc.) in Organic Chemistry.
  • At least 1 year of experience working in a Quality Control or Analysis laboratory within a cGMP/ISO environment.
