Roles & Responsibilities
As a Research Associate, you will:
- Perform multi-step organic synthesis and functional group transformations
- Handle sensitive and pyrophoric reactions safely
- Execute multiple reactions simultaneously with proper time management
- Develop and optimize scalable synthetic routes (gm to kg scale)
- Conduct literature searches using tools like SciFinder
- Interpret analytical data to guide experiments
- Synthesize, purify, and characterize intermediates and NCE compounds
- Maintain accurate experimental records in electronic lab notebooks
- Use ChemDraw and other scientific tools effectively
- Follow EHS guidelines and laboratory safety protocols
Required Qualifications
- MSc in Organic Chemistry
- Strong understanding of advanced organic chemistry concepts
- Experience in process development and chemical synthesis
- Knowledge of analytical interpretation and reaction optimization
- Proficiency in MS Office and structure drawing tools (ChemDraw)
