Key Responsibilities
As a Research Assistant, you will be responsible for:
- Designing and executing multi-step chemical synthesis processes
- Developing new or improving existing pharmaceutical excipients
- Optimizing reaction conditions using green chemistry approaches
- Supporting scale-up from R&D to commercial manufacturing
- Performing analytical characterization using:
- HPLC
- GC
- FTIR
- NMR
- Ensuring compliance with GMP and pharmacopeia standards (USP, EP)
- Preparing technical reports and maintaining lab documentation
- Maintaining batch records and laboratory notebooks
- Applying knowledge of Polymer Chemistry in research work
Required Qualifications
To be eligible for this role, candidates must have:
- M.Sc in Organic Chemistry or equivalent
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in synthesis or R&D
- Strong knowledge of analytical instruments and techniques
- Understanding of GMP and pharmaceutical standards
- Good documentation and reporting skills
