๐ฌ Key Responsibilities (Research Associate โ Syngene)
- Perform synthetic chemistry reactions, including reaction setup, workup, purification (chromatography, crystallization)
- Handle analytical sample submission and interpret results
- Maintain laboratory notebooks (ELN) with accurate data recording
- Operate and maintain lab instruments and equipment
- Ensure compliance with EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) and MSDS guidelines
- Conduct preventive maintenance and calibration checks
- Prepare SOPs, IOPs, and documentation
- Participate in immuno-oncology research projects
- Develop and run assays and experimental models
- Compile experimental data and generate study reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional research teams
- Train and mentor junior scientists (if required)
๐ Educational Qualification
- MSc in Chemical Sciences (Organic / Medicinal / General Chemistry preferred)
๐งช Required Skills
- Strong understanding of organic synthesis and reaction mechanisms
- Experience with chromatography & purification techniques
- Knowledge of analytical techniques (HPLC, NMR, etc.)
- Familiarity with lab instruments and safety protocols
- Good data interpretation and reporting skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
