This one-year Apprenticeship opportunity under the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) and National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) is ideal for recent postgraduates looking to gain hands-on experience in a world-class manufacturing environment.
Roles & Responsibilities As an Apprentice in the Microbiology Department, you will work closely with experienced professionals on key tasks, including:
- Assisting in microbiological testing and analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products
- Supporting environmental monitoring and microbial limit testing in cleanroom facilities
- Maintaining laboratory records, equipment calibration, and compliance with GMP/GLP standards
- Participating in validation activities and quality control procedures
- Learning aseptic techniques and microbial identification methods
- Contributing to data compilation and reporting for regulatory compliance
This role provides practical exposure to pharmaceutical microbiology practices in a regulated, high-quality setting.
Required Qualifications
- Educational Qualification: M.Sc in Microbiology / Biotechnology / Life Sciences
- Minimum Marks: 60% aggregate in M.Sc
- Experience: Freshers only (no prior experience required)
- Age: As per Apprenticeship scheme guidelines
- Strong academic background and willingness to learn in a fast-paced pharma environment
Stipend, Benefits & Duration
- Stipend: Rs. 13,500 per month (for M.Sc with 60% marks)
- Duration: 1 year (full-time Apprenticeship)
