Key Roles and Responsibilities As a Quality Control professional at Sun Pharma, you will play a critical role in ensuring product safety, efficacy, and compliance. Responsibilities include:
- Performing analysis using sophisticated instruments such as HPLC, GC, IR, UV Spectrophotometer, Dissolution apparatus, and other related equipment.
- Conducting in-process, finished product, stability, and raw material testing as per cGMP guidelines.
- Preparing and reviewing analytical reports, calibration records, and documentation.
- Handling investigations for out-of-specification (OOS) results and deviations.
- Maintaining lab instruments, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., USFDA, WHO, etc.).
- Supporting method validation, transfers, and routine QC activities.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Education: B.Pharm / M.Pharm / B.Sc / M.Sc (Chemistry or relevant field).
- Experience: 4 to 8 years in Quality Control within the pharmaceutical industry (formulation preferred).
- Desired Skills/Profile: Hands-on expertise in HPLC, GC, IR, UV, Dissolution, Spectroscopic techniques, and Dissolution (Disso). Strong knowledge of cGMP, GLP, regulatory requirements, and good documentation practices.
