🔬 Job Role: Patent Research Associate – Biotechnology
Location: Mohali / Chandigarh
Employment Type: Full-time, On-site
Working Days: Monday to Friday (Day Shift)
🧪 Key Responsibilities
- Conduct prior-art searches and patentability analysis in biotechnology and life sciences
- Perform freedom-to-operate (FTO) and infringement searches
- Analyze scientific literature, patents, and technical documents
- Prepare patent landscapes, technology scouting, and competitive intelligence reports
- Support drafting teams with technical insights
- Maintain accuracy, documentation, and quality standards in IP research
🎓 Qualifications & Skills
- M.Tech or Ph.D. in Biotechnology / Life Sciences
- Preference for candidates from reputed institutes (e.g., NIPER, NIPER Mohali, IIT)
- Strong understanding of molecular biology, biochemistry, and biotechnology concepts
- Excellent analytical, research, and written communication skills
- Basic awareness of patents and intellectual property is an advantage
