Roles & Responsibilities
Team members will contribute to one or more of the key pillars of ADC development:
- Bioconjugation / ADC Chemistry — Designing and optimizing linkers, payloads, and conjugation processes for efficient and stable ADCs.
- In-Process Analytical Characterization — Performing detailed analysis including Drug-Antibody Ratio (DAR), purity assessment, and stability profiling using advanced techniques.
- Purification & Downstream Processing — Handling chromatography, filtration, and other purification methods to isolate high-quality ADC products.
- In Vitro / ADC Biology — Conducting potency assays, mechanism-of-action studies, and biological evaluations of ADCs.
This is a highly collaborative environment where chemists and biologists work closely together. The company especially values professionals who can “speak both languages” — chemists familiar with monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) and cell culture, or biologists comfortable with chemical concepts like equivalents and stoichiometry.

Required Qualifications
- Experience: 0–10 years (freshers welcome; academic research or industry experience accepted)
- Education: Master’s or PhD in Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Biology, Chemistry, or closely related disciplines
- Strong foundation in either synthetic organic chemistry, bioconjugation techniques, protein/antibody handling, analytical characterization, or cell-based assays
- Passion for interdisciplinary work at the chemistry-biology interface
Salary, Benefits & How to Apply
Laurus Labs offers competitive compensation aligned with industry standards for ADC and biologics roles in Hyderabad. Salary range: ₹4.5 Lakhs to ₹18 Lakhs per annum (depending on experience, qualification level, and role).
