This position is based in Goa, MH, IN (Verna Industrial Area), and involves key operations in Granulation, Compression, Coating, and Encapsulation sections. Roles & Responsibilities
As an Associate – Production, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth and compliant manufacturing operations. Key responsibilities include:
- Complying with all cGMP, GxP, EH&S, and other regulatory requirements.
- Completing training on relevant SOPs and performing tasks only after proper understanding and authorization.
- Manufacturing and processing batches of assigned products as per Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR) under supervision.
- Handling raw materials, bulk, semi-finished, and finished goods movement.
- Operating, cleaning, and maintaining equipment and accessories as per SOPs.
- Maintaining cleanliness and GMP standards in the production area and machines.
- Performing in-process checks, online documentation, and recording results accurately.
- Supporting Quality Management Systems by reporting deviations, concerns, or suggestions.
- Conducting line clearance during batch/product changeovers and ensuring compliance.
- Monitoring environmental conditions to meet BMR/SOP standards.
- Ensuring calibration and preventive maintenance of equipment as scheduled.
- Troubleshooting machine and process issues as needed.
- Managing issuance, retrieval, and destruction of dies, punches, bags, sieves, and related items.
- Attending required cGMP, on-job, functional, safety, and hygiene training programs.
- Promoting cost-effectiveness through yield optimization and expense control.
- Performing any other assignments as directed by the Production Head.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Diploma in Pharmacy or Graduation in Science (B.Sc.).
- Experience: 2-5 years in pharmaceutical production, preferably in solid dosage forms (Granulation, Compression, Coating, Encapsulation).
