Key Responsibilities
As an Associate Scientist – Analytical Sciences, you will:
- Coordinate with global R&D and analytical teams to support end-to-end stability testing activities.
- Perform routine and non-routine analytical testing using HPLC, GC, and related instrumentation in a cGMP-compliant laboratory.
- Develop, optimize, validate, and transfer analytical methods and new technologies.
- Conduct method validation, forced degradation studies, and prepare validation protocols and reports.
- Troubleshoot analytical instruments and ensure instrument calibration, qualification, and maintenance.
- Apply statistical tools and DOE approaches to improve analytical processes.
- Maintain accurate laboratory documentation in line with ALCOA+ principles.
- Support operational excellence initiatives and continuous improvement programs.
Required Qualifications
Education
- M.Sc in Analytical Science, Organic Chemistry, or related discipline
OR - Master’s in Pharmacy (M.Pharm)
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of total experience
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience with HPLC/GC in a cGMP environment
- Experience in stability testing within a pharma or FMCG organization
Technical Skills
- Strong expertise in chromatography (HPLC/GC)
- Knowledge of ICH, WHO, FDA guidelines
- Understanding of cGMP, ALCOA+, and stability requirements
- Experience in analytical method validation and documentation
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with OpenLab software and 21 CFR Part 11 compliance
- Working knowledge of eLN and LIMS
- Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and decision-making skills
- Ability to independently manage projects with minimal supervision
- Effective presentation and stakeholder communication skills
