NeoDx Biotech Labs Pvt. Ltd., a fast-growing molecular diagnostics company, is hiring a Technical Product Specialist for its Sales & Application team in Bengaluru, Karnataka. This role is ideal for MSc or MTech Molecular Biology / Biotechnology / Genetics professionals who have strong hands-on RT-PCR and nucleic acid extraction experience and are looking to move beyond routine bench work into a scientific, customer-facing, and product-focused career.
Unlike traditional sales roles, this position acts as a technical bridge between R&D and customers, working closely with diagnostic labs, hospitals, and research institutes across Karnataka.
🔍 Key Responsibilities – Technical Product Specialist
1️⃣ Field Engagement & Distributor Enablement (50%)
- Act as the technical expert during visits to hospitals, diagnostic labs, and research institutes
- Support distributor partners by explaining scientific performance and technical advantages of NeoDx molecular diagnostic kits
- Shift customer discussions from pricing to performance and data-driven value
2️⃣ Product Demonstrations & Application Support (30%)
- Conduct wet-lab demonstrations of RT-PCR kits at customer sites
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to qPCR instruments, extraction methods, and protocols
- Train laboratory staff on correct usage and best practices for NeoDx products
3️⃣ Scientific Marketing & Market Feedback (20%)
- Convert R&D data into technical presentations, comparison charts, and case studies
- Collect competitor intelligence and customer feedback to support future product development
- Act as the field voice of the R&D team
🎓 Qualifications & Skills Required
✅ Must-Have Qualifications
- MSc or MTech in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Genetics, or related life sciences
- Hands-on experience with RT-PCR / qPCR
- Practical knowledge of RNA/DNA extraction techniques
- Strong communication and scientific presentation skills
- Willingness to travel extensively within Karnataka
⭐ Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience as an Application Specialist, Technical Support, or Product Specialist
- Familiarity with Karnataka’s biotech and diagnostics ecosystem
- Fresh postgraduates with strong communication skills are encouraged to apply
