A Junior Executive – Lab Support position is open at a Dedicated Centre (Confidential Pharma Company) in Bangalore, Karnataka. This opportunity is ideal for BSc Chemistry freshers or Diploma in Chemical Engineering candidates looking to start their career in pharmaceutical and chemical laboratory operations.
The role focuses on laboratory consumables management, chemistry lab monitoring, and hands-on support to chemists, including exposure to hydrogenation reactions under strict EHS guidelines.
Key Responsibilities – Lab Support Executive
- Preparation and timely refilling of laboratory consumables and chemicals
- Handling inorganic solutions as per SOPs
- Monitoring chemistry laboratories during night shifts, ensuring safety compliance
- Assisting chemists with routine laboratory operations
- Reviewing day-shift and night-shift registers and executing assigned tasks
- Supporting chemists in hydrogenation reactions
- Ensuring Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) adherence at all times
Qualifications & Experience
- BSc in Chemistry OR Diploma in Chemical Engineering
- Freshers preferred (entry-level role)
- Candidates with internship or lab exposure will have an advantage
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of chemistry laboratory practices
- Knowledge of EHS and laboratory safety protocols
- Ability to work independently during night shifts
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts
