🧪 Key Responsibilities
As a Statistical Programmer at Saama Technologies, you will:

- Work independently on SDTM and client-specific mapping activities
- Develop and review mapping specifications for clinical studies
- Perform import and export of raw clinical trial data
- Use SAS programming (and optionally R/Python) for study deliverables
- Identify, analyze, and report clinical data issues
- Build CDISC-compliant datasets (SDTM, ADaM, submission packages)
- Review CRF annotations and ensure alignment with raw data
- Debug and enhance SAS macros and custom functions
- Collaborate with Biostatistics and Data Management teams
- Support QC activities, metrics tracking, and SOP compliance
- Communicate with internal programming and statistics leads
🎓 Qualifications & Skills Required
Educational Qualification
- Graduation in Pharmacy, Computer Science, or equivalent discipline
- Degree from a reputed institute preferred
Experience
- Total professional experience: 2 to 4 years
- Up to 2 years of hands-on SAS programming experience
Technical Skills
- Strong clinical domain knowledge
- Hands-on experience with CDISC standards (SDTM, ADaM)
- Proficiency in SAS programming
- Python or R programming is an added advantage
- Understanding of regulatory submission requirements
Soft Skills
- Good communication and documentation skills
- Ability to learn new tools and technologies quickly
