Cliantha Research, a leading global Contract Research Organization (CRO), is hiring an Apprentice for Bioanalytical at its Ahmedabad facility. This opportunity is ideal for B.Pharm, M.Pharm, and M.Sc graduates seeking hands-on experience in LC/MS/MS bioanalysis, method development, and validation within a regulated clinical research environment.
This bioanalytical apprentice role offers direct exposure to regulated GLP bioanalysis, biological sample handling, and advanced analytical instrumentation—making it a strong career entry point in clinical research and bioanalytical sciences.
🔬 Key Responsibilities – Apprentice Bioanalytical
1. Study & Laboratory Operations
- Perform biological sample extraction using wet chemistry techniques
- Handle centrifugation, evaporation, freezing, and storage of samples
- Prepare aliquots of plasma, serum, and urine samples
- Prepare reagents, solvents, mobile phases, and calibration standards
2. Method Development & Validation (MD/MV)
- Support bioanalytical method development and validation using LC/MS/MS
- Perform validation parameters including:
- Accuracy and precision
- Recovery and matrix effect
- Stability studies (bench-top, freeze–thaw, long-term, post-extraction)
- Apply validated methods for bioequivalence and subject sample analysis
3. Instrumentation & Troubleshooting
- Operate and maintain LC/MS/MS, HPLC, and ICP-OES instruments
- Conduct routine system checks and basic troubleshooting
- Ensure system suitability prior to analysis
4. Documentation & Quality Compliance
- Maintain raw data records, QC sheets, and analytical worksheets
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, GLP, and regulatory bioanalytical guidelines
- Maintain instrument logbooks and documentation
5. Regulatory & Training Activities
- Follow all protocols, SOPs, and regulatory requirements
- Complete mandatory training programs and maintain training records
- Support internal and external audits when required
🎓 Eligibility & Qualifications
Education
- B.Pharm (UG)
- M.Pharm / M.Sc / MS (Science) – any specialization
Experience
- 0–1 year (Freshers with relevant practical exposure are encouraged)
- Prior exposure to a regulated bioanalytical laboratory is preferred
Technical Skills
- Hands-on knowledge of LC/MS/MS operation and troubleshooting
- Understanding of bioanalytical method validation guidelines
- Proficiency in wet chemistry and biological matrices
- Strong documentation and data integrity practices
