Key Responsibilities
As a Drug Safety Physician at OrciMed Life Sciences, your responsibilities will include:
- Performing signal detection activities across global safety databases
- Review and medical assessment of aggregate safety reports (PSUR, PBRER, DSUR)
- Medical evaluation of Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSRs)
- Supporting benefit–risk evaluation and safety decision-making
- Ensuring compliance with global pharmacovigilance regulations
- Collaborating with cross-functional PV and regulatory teams
- Maintaining high standards of documentation and medical review quality
Eligibility & Qualifications
To be considered for this Drug Safety Physician position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Qualification: MBBS or MD (mandatory)
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in pharmacovigilance or drug safety
- Registration: Must be registered medical practitioner in India
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of signal detection and aggregate reporting
- Understanding of global PV guidelines (ICH, GVP)
- Good analytical and medical writing skills
- Availability: Immediate joiners or candidates with up to 1 month notice period
