Key Responsibilities – Senior Specialist Case Processing
As a Senior Specialist in Case Processing at Cencora, your responsibilities will include:
- Performing triage and initial validity assessment of ICSRs (spontaneous, clinical trial, health authority, and literature cases)
- Data entry and case processing in pharmacovigilance safety databases
- Conducting initial ICSR assessments and evaluating expedited reporting requirements
- Preparing and submitting CIOMS I, MedWatch forms, and XML files
- Managing follow-up requests and tracking case completion
- Submitting ICSRs to global health authorities and business partners
- Conducting quality checks (QC) to ensure compliance with regulatory and project standards
- Performing EVWEB case searches and company vs non-company assessments
- Managing case allocation and workload distribution
- Providing system training and mentoring new team members
- Supporting continuous improvement and compliance with global PV regulations
Eligibility & Qualifications
Educational Qualification
- University degree in Life Sciences (Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Clinical Research, or related field)
Experience Required
- Minimum 1.5 years of experience in ICSR case processing
- Hands-on experience with pharmacovigilance databases and safety reporting
Key Skills & Knowledge
- Strong attention to detail and quality orientation
- Good understanding of ICSR workflows and regulatory timelines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage workload independently
