Key Responsibilities
- Accurately transcribe medical reports, diagnostic notes, and clinical summaries
- Ensure correct usage of medical terminology, abbreviations, and formats
- Edit, proofread, and review reports to maintain high accuracy and quality
- Maintain patient data confidentiality and comply with healthcare data privacy standards
- Coordinate with clinicians, lab teams, and reporting teams to clarify dictations
- Ensure timely submission of reports within defined TATs
- Maintain organized transcription records and update internal systems
- Follow internal SOPs and quality standards for medical documentation
Eligibility & Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months experience as a Medical Transcriptionist (freshers with training may apply)
- BSc / MSc / BPharm / MPharm in:
- Biotechnology
- Pharmacy
- Life Sciences
- Microbiology
- Molecular Biology
- Genetics
- Medical Transcription certification or formal training (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and clinical documentation
- Excellent typing speed with high accuracy
- Proficiency in MS Word and basic computer applications
- Good command of written English
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- High integrity in handling confidential medical information
