This full-time opportunity is ideal for life sciences and pharmacy graduates seeking hands-on exposure in pharmacovigilance literature surveillance, ICSR identification, and drug safety signal detection within a global Central Safety Department (CSD).

Key Responsibilities – Literature Specialist Intern (PV)

As a Literature Specialist–Intern at GSK, you will:

  • Support Central Safety Department (CSD) literature screening for ICSR and signal detection
  • Perform pharmacovigilance literature surveillance in line with global regulatory requirements
  • Screen and review literature search outputs (articles, abstracts, citations)
  • Identify and triage articles of interest containing safety-relevant information
  • Support SERM product specialists with safety data extraction
  • Apply defined algorithms and criteria for periodic reporting and signal management
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of assigned safety deliverables

Eligibility & Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, or related discipline
  • Strong understanding of pharmacovigilance and drug safety concepts
  • Familiarity with medical literature databases (PubMed, Embase – preferred)
  • Ability to interpret scientific and clinical publications
  • Good attention to detail and documentation skills
  • Freshers or early-career candidates with PV exposure may apply
