Roles & Responsibilities
As a Production Chemist, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of the production department. Key responsibilities include:
- Monitoring and executing chemical synthesis processes as per batch manufacturing records (BMR)
- Operating reactors, centrifuges, dryers, and other production equipment safely
- Ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory guidelines
- Recording process parameters, yields, and observations during manufacturing
- Assisting in troubleshooting process deviations and maintaining batch documentation
- Participating in cleaning and validation activities of equipment
- Coordinating with Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) teams
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Educational Qualification: B.Sc. Chemistry / M.Sc. Chemistry (Organic/Analytical preferred)
- Experience: 0–2 years (Freshers with strong academic background are strongly encouraged to apply)
- Basic knowledge of chemical reactions, process safety, and GMP is desirable
- Good observation skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in shifts (including rotational shifts)
- Strong communication skills in English and Hindi
