Key Responsibilities
As a Medical Reviewer in Pharmacovigilance, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting medical review and approval of selected scientific and literature articles
- Reviewing Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSRs) in the safety database
- Performing medical labeling, causality assessment, and seriousness evaluation
- Following up with reporters to obtain missing or additional safety information
- Reviewing aggregate safety reports, including:
- Periodic Safety Update Reports (PSURs)
- Periodic Adverse Drug Experience Reports (PADERs)
- Providing medical and scientific conclusions for benefit–risk assessments
- Reviewing and supporting Risk Management Plans (RMPs)
- Contributing medical input to signal detection and signal management activities
- Ensuring compliance with global pharmacovigilance regulations
Eligibility & Qualifications
To be eligible for this Medical Reviewer – Pharmacovigilance role, candidates must have:
- MBBS or MD in Pharmacology
- 0–1 year of experience in pharmacovigilance or drug safety
- Strong understanding of ICSR processing and safety databases
- Knowledge of global PV regulations (ICH, GVP, FDA, EMA) is an advantage
- Prior experience in a regulated pharmaceutical company is a plus
