Open Positions and Experience Requirements
Spica Laboratories is hiring for the following roles:
- Production — 0 to 8 years of experience
- Quality Control (QC) — 0 to 8 years of experience
- Quality Assurance (QA) — 0 to 8 years of experience
- Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) — 4 to 5 years of experience

Roles and Responsibilities
Successful candidates will be involved in key operational areas depending on their department:
- Production: Operate and monitor manufacturing processes, ensure batch compliance, handle equipment, maintain production records, and achieve daily/weekly targets while adhering to GMP standards.
- Quality Control (QC): Perform sampling, testing, and analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products using sophisticated instruments; prepare reports and ensure data integrity.
- Quality Assurance (QA): Review batch records, conduct audits, ensure regulatory compliance (GMP, GLP), implement quality systems, and handle documentation for API manufacturing.
- EHS: Implement safety protocols, conduct risk assessments, manage environmental compliance, train staff on safety practices, and handle incident reporting to maintain a safe workplace.
These roles offer hands-on exposure to API production processes and provide opportunities for professional growth in a regulated pharmaceutical setting.
Required Qualifications
- Educational background in B.Sc./M.Sc. (Chemistry), B.Pharm, M.Pharm, or related fields (as relevant to the role).
- Prior experience in API/pharmaceutical manufacturing is highly desirable, though freshers are welcome for Production, QC, and QA positions.
- Strong knowledge of GMP, safety regulations, and quality systems.
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented approach.
