Roles and Responsibilities
The selected candidate will play a key role in the API R&D Department, contributing to process optimization and scale-up activities. Key responsibilities include:
- Design, develop, and optimize robust, scalable, and cost-effective API manufacturing processes.
- Perform route scouting and process optimization to improve yield, quality, safety, and sustainability.
- Conduct process scale-up from lab to pilot and commercial scale, providing technical support during engineering and validation batches.
- Develop and optimize crystallization, salt selection, polymorph control, and particle size distribution.
- Good knowledge about review Process Development Reports (PDRs), Technology Transfer documents, and scale-up protocols.
- Collaborate with Analytical R&D, QA, Regulatory Affairs, and Manufacturing teams for successful project execution.
- Execution of Lab experiments as per the requirements.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Education: MSc in Organic Chemistry.
- Experience: 4-6 years in API R&D, preferably with immediate availability for joining.
- Skills: Strong expertise in organic synthesis, process development, scale-up, and analytical techniques. Familiarity with regulatory requirements and documentation is essential.
