Key Responsibilities
As a QC Analyst – HPLC, you will play a critical role in ensuring product quality and compliance. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Analysis of raw materials, in-process/intermediate samples, semi-finished, and finished products as per approved Standard Testing Procedures (STPs)
- Performing routine, stability, dissolution, assay, and related substances testing using HPLC
- Ensuring accurate documentation, review, and adherence to data integrity principles (ALCOA+)
- Maintaining laboratory instruments, logbooks, and analytical records
- Supporting investigations for Out of Specification (OOS), Out of Trend (OOT), and deviations
- Complying with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), and internal SOPs
Required Qualifications and Skills
To excel in this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:
- Education: B.Pharm / M.Pharm / M.Sc (Chemistry)
- Experience: 1–3 years in Pharmaceutical Quality Control, with mandatory hands-on HPLC experience
- Key Skills:
- Operation of HPLC systems (Empower, LabSolutions, or equivalent)
- Testing of Raw Materials, Intermediates, Semi-Finished, and Finished Goods
- Analysis of OSD & Topical formulations
- Stability testing, dissolution, and related substances analysis
- Strong knowledge of Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
- Basic understanding of OOS/OOT, deviations, and change controls
- Ability to support regulatory and customer audits
