Key Responsibilities
Core Responsibilities (Across Roles)
- Conduct site monitoring for Phase I–III interventional clinical trials.
- Ensure compliance with ICH-GCP, protocol, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
- Perform site initiation, routine monitoring, and close-out visits.
- Review trial documentation, source data, and essential records.
- Identify, document, and escalate protocol deviations and quality issues.
- Support timely data entry, query resolution, and inspection readiness.
Area-Specific Responsibilities
Senior CRA
- Independently manage multiple sites with minimal supervision.
- Support junior CRAs with on-the-job guidance.
- Contribute to monitoring plans and site performance tracking.
Local Trial Manager
- Oversee site monitoring activities within assigned studies.
- Mentor and supervise CRAs across regions.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams on trial execution.
- Support trial timelines, risk mitigation, and quality oversight.
Regional Trial Lead
- Provide regional leadership for multiple clinical studies.
- Manage clinical operations deliverables, budgets, and resources.
- Act as people manager for CRAs and LTMs.
- Partner with global stakeholders on trial planning and execution.
Eligibility & Skills
Clinical Research Associate (CRA)
- Minimum 1 year of site monitoring experience.
- Hands-on exposure to Phase I, II, or III interventional trials.
- Working knowledge of ICH-GCP and regulatory guidelines.
- Ability to manage site relationships and trial documentation.
Senior Clinical Research Associate (Sr. CRA)
- Minimum 3 years of independent site monitoring experience.
- Proven experience managing multiple sites and protocols.
- Strong documentation review and issue resolution skills.
- Ability to support and guide junior team members.
Local Trial Manager (LTM)
- Minimum 5 years of site monitoring experience in interventional trials.
- Demonstrated experience in mentoring CRAs.
- Exposure to trial-level operational oversight.
- Strong coordination and communication capabilities.
Regional Trial Lead (RTL)
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Clinical Operations.
- Solid independent monitoring background.
- At least 2 years of project management and people management experience.
- Ability to manage regional trial delivery and operational risk.
