The company is actively hiring experienced professionals for Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager positions in Quality Control (Microbiology). Roles & Responsibilities
As an Assistant Manager or Deputy Manager in Quality Control (Microbiology), you will play a key role in ensuring product quality and compliance. Typical responsibilities include:
- Overseeing Out of Specification (OOS) and Out of Trend (OOT) investigations in microbiology.
- Conducting and supervising microbiological stability studies.
- Performing antibiotic assays and other microbial limit tests.
- Managing environmental monitoring, water testing, and sterility assurance.
- Ensuring adherence to GMP, GLP, and regulatory guidelines (USFDA, WHO, etc.).
- Leading team activities, training juniors, and handling documentation for audits.
- Investigating deviations and implementing CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions).
Required Qualifications and Experience
Candidates should meet the following criteria:
- Educational Qualification: B.Pharmacy, M.Pharmacy, or M.Sc (Microbiology/Biotechnology preferred).
- Experience: 10-15 years in pharmaceutical Quality Control, specifically in Microbiology.
- Key Exposure: Hands-on experience in OOS/OOT investigations, microbiological stability testing, antibiotic assays, microbial limit tests, BET (Bacterial Endotoxin Test), sterility testing, and related areas.
Prior experience in a USFDA/WHO-approved facility will be an added advantage.
