Intas Pharmaceuticals Ltd., a leading global pharmaceutical company, is hiring an Executive / Senior Executive – Business Operations (Africa Business) for its Head Office in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity ideal for B.Pharm / M.Pharm professionals looking to build a career in international pharma business operations, supply chain coordination, and commercial support across Rest of Africa (RoA) markets.
This role offers strong exposure to end-to-end order-to-cash cycles, SAP IBP forecasting, distributor coordination, and business development support, making it an excellent stepping stone toward future leadership roles in commercial strategy and global markets.
Key Responsibilities
Business Operations & Supply Planning
- Coordinate with SCM, Regulatory, Logistics, and Finance teams for smooth order execution
- Generate Proforma Invoices (PFIs) against purchase orders and track order-to-cash cycles
- Ensure timely dispatches by managing import permits, advance payments, and LCs
- Handle shipping documents to prevent demurrage and compliance risks
- Track stock positions across plants and distributor locations for optimal inventory
Commercial & Business Support
- Align with distributors and SCM to prepare monthly sales estimates vs budgets
- Manage inventory planning for African markets such as Zimbabwe and Mauritius
- Upload and validate demand forecasts in SAP IBP, ensuring demand KPI accuracy
- Prepare country-wise and molecule-wise MIS reports for sales and budget planning
- Support business development activities, agreements, market insights, and competitor analysis
Cross-Functional & Strategic Exposure
- Coordinate with NPL and Regulatory teams for product launches and registrations
- Assist in dispatch of marketing inputs to distributors and affiliates
- Prepare MIS dashboards, financial analyses, and management reports
- Develop independent decision-making skills with exposure to commercial strategy
Eligibility Criteria
Education
- B.Pharm or M.Pharm (MBA preferred)
Experience
- 2 to 4 years of experience in:
- International pharma business operations
- Supply chain coordination
- Commercial or distributor support roles
Skills
- Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills
- Working knowledge of SAP / SAP IBP
- Understanding of international pharma supply chains and Africa markets
- Analytical mindset with MIS and reporting expertise

Salary (Expected Range)
- ₹6,00,000 – ₹10,00,000 per annum (CTC)
