Roles and Responsibilities
As a Quality Control Officer/Executive in the formulations division, your key responsibilities will include:
- Performing analysis using advanced instruments like HPLC for raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
- Conducting microbiological testing, chemical analysis, and stability studies as per regulatory guidelines.
- Ensuring compliance with cGMP, USP, and other pharmacopeial standards.
- Documentation of test results, calibration of instruments, and investigation of OOS (Out of Specification) results.
- Supporting validation activities and contributing to continuous improvement in QC processes.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Educational Qualification: B.Sc / M.Sc / B.Pharm in relevant disciplines (Chemistry, Microbiology, Pharmacy)
- Experience: 1-5 years in pharmaceutical formulations Quality Control (mandatory)
- Key Skills: Hands-on experience in HPLC, microbiological techniques, wet chemical analysis, stability testing; knowledge of regulatory requirements
Salary and Benefits
- Salary Range: Competitive package in the range of ₹3.5 Lakhs to ₹8 Lakhs per annum (depending on experience, qualifications, and interview performance)
