Key Responsibilities (GMV Roles)
- Intake, triage, and documentation of adverse event (AE) cases
- Medical and clinical review of safety complaints
- MedDRA coding, seriousness, and causality assessment
- Case processing in Veeva Vault Safety
- Preparation of MedWatch, CIOMS, and AE narratives
- Signal detection and aggregate safety data analysis
- Compliance with FDA, EMA GVP, and global PV regulations
- Cross-functional collaboration with Regulatory, QA, R&D, Legal
- CAPA tracking, reconciliations, and audit readiness
- Mentoring and training junior safety professionals (Senior/Manager roles)
Required Qualifications & Skills
Education
- MBBS / MD (for Manager – Medical Doctor role)
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Pharmacy or Life Sciences (Associate & Senior Associate)
Experience
- Associate: 0–2 years in pharmacovigilance or post-market safety
- Senior Associate: 2–5 years in PV / market vigilance
- Manager: 3+ years with strong medical review expertise
Technical Skills
- Hands-on experience with Veeva Vault Safety
- Strong knowledge of MedDRA, AE reporting standards
- Familiarity with US FDA, Health Canada, EMA GVP
- Excellent documentation, analytical, and communication skills
