Roles & Responsibilities of IEC Coordinator
- Coordinate and manage Institutional Ethics Committee (IEC) meetings
- Review, track, and maintain clinical trial protocols and submissions
- Ensure compliance with ICH-GCP, Indian GCP, and regulatory guidelines
- Maintain IEC documentation, approvals, amendments, and correspondence
- Liaise with investigators, sponsors, and regulatory bodies
- Support ethical review processes ensuring subject rights and safety
Eligibility Criteria & Qualifications
Educational Qualification
- Postgraduate degree with minimum 65% marks in:
- M.Pharm
- M.Sc. Life Sciences
- Clinical Research / Regulatory Affairs
- Mandatory Diploma in Clinical Research and Pharmacovigilance from a recognized university
Experience
- Minimum 1 year experience in:
- Clinical Research, or
- IEC / Ethics Committee management
