Key Roles & Responsibilities
As a Boiler Operator (First Class), you will play a vital role in maintaining boiler systems to support manufacturing operations. Your primary duties will include:
- Operating and maintaining steam boilers in compliance with safety and statutory norms
- Monitoring key boiler parameters such as pressure, temperature, water level, and fuel consumption
- Ensuring uninterrupted steam supply to production and utility areas
- Performing routine checks, troubleshooting issues, and conducting minor maintenance tasks
- Maintaining accurate logbooks, checklists, and statutory records
- Adhering strictly to GMP, safety, and EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) guidelines
- Coordinating with maintenance and utility teams during breakdowns or scheduled shutdowns
Required Qualifications & Candidate Profile
To excel in this position, candidates should meet the following criteria:
- Valid First Class Boiler Attendant Certificate (mandatory)
- ITI or Diploma in relevant field
- 3–6 years of hands-on experience in boiler operations within pharma, chemical, or manufacturing plants
- Strong knowledge of boiler safety rules, regulations, and compliance requirements
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts
Preferred Qualifications:
- Immediate availability for joining
- Experience with IBR (Indian Boiler Regulations) boilers and steam distribution systems
