Key Responsibilities – Safety Management (Lilly)
As part of Lilly’s Global Patient Safety (GPS) team, you will:
- Manage and review adverse event (AE) data ensuring accuracy, consistency, and regulatory compliance
- Apply clinical judgment and regulatory knowledge to safety case processing
- Process safety reports from clinical trials, spontaneous reports, literature, PSPs, and market research
- Perform MedDRA coding, listedness, causality, and seriousness assessment
- Identify data gaps and conduct follow-ups with HCPs, investigators, and patients
- Ensure compliance with FDA, EMA, MHRA, PMDA expedited reporting requirements
- Work with Lilly safety systems such as MOSAIC and LSS
- Collaborate with cross-functional and global teams
- Support literature search strategy updates and safety workflow enhancements
- Maintain awareness of PV agreements and regulatory commitments
Eligibility & Qualifications
To apply for this Safety Management position at Lilly, candidates must have:
- Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Biological Sciences, or Healthcare (preferred)
- 4 to 8 years of relevant experience in Pharmacovigilance / Drug Safety
- Strong understanding of global PV regulations and expedited reporting
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Hands-on experience with safety databases and electronic PV systems
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
- Ability to work effectively in global, cross-cultural teams
