Job Roles and Responsibilities
Marksans Pharma is recruiting for multiple levels in Production OSD, Softgel, and Packing departments.
Shift In-Charge / Officer – Production & Packing
Experience: 2–12 years Qualification: B.Pharm, M.Pharm, B.Sc, M.Sc
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise production operations for OSD and soft gelatin dosage forms
- Manage shift activities, manpower allocation, and line clearance
- Operate and monitor equipment such as granulators, compression machines, coating pans, encapsulation units, and packing lines
- Ensure compliance with cGMP, SOPs, data integrity, and safety requirements
- Maintain batch manufacturing records (BMRs) and production documentation
- Coordinate with QA, QC, and Engineering teams to resolve deviations and improve efficiency
Operator – Production & Packing
Experience: 1–5 years Qualification: ITI, Diploma, HSC
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate production and packing equipment including granulation, compression, coating, capsule filling, wruster/pellet coating, gelatin processing, drying, inspection, blister packing, cartonator, bottle filling, strip packing, labeling, and foil printing machines
- Perform routine in-process checks and online documentation
- Follow SOPs, GMP guidelines, and safety procedures during operations
- Support cleaning, setup, and changeover activities
Required Qualifications and Eligibility
- Relevant hands-on experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, specifically in OSD, Softgel, or Packing operations
- Strong knowledge of GMP, production processes, and equipment handling
- Ability to work in rotational shifts and achieve production targets
- Preferred qualifications: B.Pharm, M.Pharm, B.Sc, M.Sc for officer roles; ITI, Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical, or HSC for operator roles
Note: These positions require prior experience; freshers are not eligible.
