Key Responsibilities – Medical Writer QC
As a Medical Writer QC, you will be responsible for ensuring medical accuracy, scientific integrity, and regulatory compliance across healthcare marketing materials.
- Conduct basic scientific and brand-level research with strong understanding of molecules
- Review and QC pharmaceutical and healthcare promotional materials such as:
- Visual aids
- Interactive PDFs
- Video scripts
- Medical publications
- Develop deep understanding of assigned products, therapeutic areas, and underlying science
- Collaborate closely with creative, design, and internal stakeholders
- Perform end-to-end proofreading and medical QC for:
- Scientific accuracy
- Consistency
- Referencing and annotation
- Identify scientific gaps, inconsistencies, and compliance risks
- Recommend corrections and improvements proactively
- Ensure clarity, readability, and high language standards while translating complex scientific data for target audiences
Qualifications & Skills Required
- Educational background in Pharmacy, Medicine, Life Sciences, or related healthcare disciplines
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical molecules and therapeutic concepts
- Experience or strong interest in medical writing, editorial review, or quality control
- Excellent attention to detail and fact-checking skills
- Familiarity with healthcare compliance and promotional standards (preferred)
- Strong written English communication skills
Freshers with strong scientific fundamentals and QC aptitude may also apply.
Salary & Benefits
- Estimated Salary: ₹3,50,000 – ₹6,50,000 per annum (INR), based on experience
