Roles and Responsibilities
API Quality Control (QC)
- Perform sampling, testing, and analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished API products.
- Operate analytical instruments such as HPLC, GC, UV spectrophotometer, and others.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, GLP, and regulatory standards.
- Document test results, prepare reports, and maintain laboratory records.
- Handle stability studies and method validation as required.
API Research & Development (R&D)
- Assist in process development and optimization for API synthesis.
- Conduct literature searches, lab experiments, and scale-up activities.
- Analyze reaction intermediates and impurities using analytical techniques.
- Support documentation for technology transfer and regulatory filings.
- Collaborate with the team on innovative solutions for API development.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Educational Qualification: B.Pharm, M.Pharm, M.Sc. in Analytical Chemistry or Organic Chemistry.
- Experience:
- QC: Open to both freshers and experienced candidates (4-5 years experience preferred for senior roles).
- R&D: Freshers only.
- Good knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations and analytical techniques is essential.
