Key Responsibilities

• Validate diagnosis codes following ICD-10-CM guidelines and payer specifications.
• Ensure compliance with CMS risk adjustment coding requirements.
• Perform coding audits to maintain high accuracy levels.
• Collaborate with team leads to meet operational and quality benchmarks.
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold HIPAA-compliant coding practices.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 0.6 – 2 Years of experience in HCC medical coding.
• Strong understanding of ICD-10-CM, HCC mappings, and CMS regulations.
• Ability to interpret clinical documentation accurately.
• Good communication and analytical skills.
• HCC certification is not mandatory but preferred.
