Haystack Analytics is hiring Technical Assistants in Hyderabad, offering an excellent opportunity for MSc Genetics or MSc Biotechnology freshers to begin their career in molecular diagnostics, NGS technologies, and genomic testing workflows.
This role involves hands-on responsibilities in diagnostic operations, molecular biology, partner coordination, and documentation—ideal for candidates looking to grow in the genomics industry.
Job Responsibilities
As a Technical Assistant, you will be involved in critical diagnostic and technical operations, including:
- Supporting diagnostic lab partners for smooth functioning of infectious disease tests
- Ensuring timely updates and upgrades to molecular diagnostic tests
- Coordinating with partners to provide technical support
- Performing DNA & RNA extractions and handling molecular biology workflows
- Documenting activities and maintaining accurate reporting
- Working in compulsory rotational shifts (day/night)
- Working 6 days a week with rotational weekly offs
Required Qualifications & Skills
To be successful in this role, candidates must have:
- MSc in Genetics or Biotechnology
- Hands-on experience in molecular biology, RNA extraction, and DNA extraction
- Strong analytical and documentation skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts
- Male candidates only (as per company requirement)
- Only Hyderabad local candidates preferred
